Puro Metallio is an IDEAL WORK decorative system built around real metal, applied as a thin, continuous coating by hand rather than as a paint effect or a laminate. Once it is burnished and finished, the surface behaves and reads as metal because it is metal, with the depth, sheen and slight variation that comes from working a metallic material by hand rather than printing a pattern onto something else.
It is a feature and joinery finish, not a general-purpose floor or wall product. We recommend it for the surfaces that are meant to be looked at and touched: a fireplace breast, a feature wall behind a bed or a bar, a run of kitchen or bathroom worktop, a piece of freestanding or fitted furniture, a bar front, a reception desk or a retail counter. It is chosen because it changes how a room or a venue feels the moment you walk in, not because it needs to survive vehicle traffic.
Across Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate we see it most in two settings: private homes where one wall or one piece of furniture is being treated as a genuine design statement, and hospitality, retail or showroom interiors where the bar front, the counter or the feature panel needs to carry the whole room's character. Both briefs come down to the same question, which finish and which patination best suit the light and the material around it.
We are certified with IDEAL WORK UK to apply Puro Metallio, and we are direct about what it is for. It is applied to walls, feature panels, fireplaces, furniture, worktops and bar fronts; it is not a resin floor finish, and it is not something we would specify for a surface that takes heavy daily traffic underfoot. If a floor is the brief, we would talk to you about resin or one of our other microcement systems instead.
